March 27, 2018 — (Burnaby, BC) Variety – the Children’s Charity is excited to announce that Uniserve Communications Corporation (Uniserve) will be the official presenters of their upcoming “One Night in Havana” Gala taking place at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront in Vancouver on Saturday, April 14, 2018.

“Uniserve is a business all about connecting people, places and things … a business that has proudly been supporting BC for over 28 years with telecommunications, media and technology” said Nicholas Jeffery, Uniserve CEO. “We are really thrilled to be supporting Variety at this Gala event when we will also be launching our year-long fundraising project ‘Share the Love’ engaging with over 13,000 residential and business customers and our own employees across the country.”

Produced by The Social Concierge, the Gala will begin at 6:00 pm and will be hosted by Global BC’s popular news anchor team, Paul Haysom and Sonia Sunger from Global News Morning. In addition to salsa dancers, rum carts, dominos and a multi-course dinner, the evening will also include both a live and a silent auction.

On the entertainment front, attendees will be treated to the soulful sounds of four-time Latin Grammy winner, three-time Grammy nominee and two-time JUNO Award winner, Alex Cuba who will be performing alongside his band.

Tickets to “One Night in Havana” are available for $250 or a table of 10 can be purchased for $2,500. Also available are VIP tickets ($500) & VIP tables ($4,500) which include a pre-Gala reception along with complimentary drinks, salsa lessons, a professional photo and a VIP pass for auction items.
